The Table Lunch Lectures Return Fridays Starting Sept. 25
“There’s always room at our table.”
This fall, the Rice Christian Study Center is delighted to host The Table Lunch Lecture series, beginning Friday, September 25. Held each Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., The Table brings together students, faculty, and local church partners for a shared meal and an extended conversation with Rice Faculty, Rice Alumni, and Houston leaders covering faith, scholarship, vocation, and life’s big questions.
The Table is a welcoming space where guests can slow down, enjoy lunch together, and engage Christian ideas in a thoughtful and relational setting. Each week offers a chance to connect across campus and be encouraged by conversations that point toward faith, learning, and faithful presence in the university community.
This ministry is made possible through the generous partnership of churches, alumni, parents, and friends who believe in the importance of Christian formation at Rice. You can help strengthen this work through prayer, financial support, and program sponsorship. One practical way to partner with us is by sponsoring a Table Lunch Lecture meal during the upcoming academic year, helping provide lunch, hospitality, and Christian conversation for about 50 students, faculty, and guests.
